OnePlus 5 leaked specifications and informations
One of the most loved smartphone brand of this planet is OnePlus. It has never really failed to surprise us everytime with a new smartphone. OnePlus got its immense popularity in India because of their price to performance ratio. They provide excellent hardware at a price point in which other manufacturers fail to give. They have their tagline as "Never Settle" and produces smartphones every year (sometimes twice a year). After an overwhelming response with OnePlus 3 and 3t their next smartphone is OnePlus 5. It will be officially released in India on 22nd June 2017 at 2PM and will be sold exclusively via amazon.
OnePlus kept the spec sheet of OnePlus 5 undercover and did not reveal it to anyone. They did not even reveal its price. But after some successful research on the internet I have found out some information which I am quite certain will be on its spec sheets. Lets have a look.
Firstly let's take a glance on its looks:
The design will be pretty much like this. It resembles the design of Apple IPhone 7 quite a bit. Now moving on to the spec sheet we might have:
Display: 5.5inch 1080p Full HD Amoled Display with DCI-P3 color space ( No 1440p display again )
CPU : Snapdragon 835 2.4 GHz Octa Core
GPU : Qualcomm Adreno 540
RAM : 8 GB
Storage: 128 GB / 64 GB
OS : Oxygen OS with Android 7.1.1
Camera : Rear- 16 MP (f 1.7) + 20 MP (f 2.6) [in collaboration with DxO] , Front - 16 MP
Battery : 3,300 mAh
Fingerprint sensor will be in the front just like OnePlus 3t
There will also be a 3.5mm headphone jack (Thank god they did not copy that from apple)
USB C type port and will support Dash Charge 2.0 which will have the fastest charging speeds
Bluetooth 5.0 will also come bundled.

Now, about the pricing.... Here is what we are really waiting for. OnePlus can price it anywhere between Rs. 33,000 to 40,000. Now that's too much for a company whose USP has been its price point. OnePlus has been raising the price with its every new release. This should come to a stand still else they will lose quite a number of customer atleast in India. Oneplus 3t was priced at Rs. 29,999 for the 64 GB model and Rs. 33,999 for the 128 GB Model. Hopefully they will raise the price of OnePlus 5 this year. Let's hope for a good pricing for OnePlus 5. Fingers Crossed!!!!
